We buy directly from many different manufacturers. In order to get the best prices, we buy in large quantities. The furniture we sell comes from all over the world but predominantly from Canada and the U.S.A. If there is something you are looking for and can't find it, chances are one of our suppliers may offer it and we can get it for you.

We have over 1000 items in stock at any given time. You can take most unfinished items home right away.

At COUNTRY FURNITURE we sell our furniture fully assembled.

Our store is located at 115 Hall St. in historic Nelson, British Columbia. In order to stock so much and to offer our best price we buy most furniture unassembled. But we sell furniture not kits. We are constantly assembling furniture behind the showroom so that you don't have to. We are experts at assembling furniture, using the correct tools and equipment. Of course all items that are available on our website will be shipped unassembled and include detailed, easy to follow instructions.

At COUNTRY FURNITURE we sell real wood furniture.

Real wood furniture is made from solid wood or a combination of solids and plywood. But you will never find particleboard or chip board in our store. We sell a variety of different woods. Our staff can explain the different characteristics of each wood. Country Furniture is proud to be a "Certified Real Wood Dealer"

You can purchase any item unfinished and finish it yourself with the easy to apply water based stains and topcoats we sell. Or you can have us finish it for you. We have our own professional finishing department. All stains are hand wiped and the topcoats sprayed in our large spray booth. All our finishes are formaldehyde free and extremely durable. Our professional staff can match just about any existing piece you might have.
